Nora Cooney’s Pub

The sign over the door says N Cooney and it’s been there for many, many years.

This is the most recently renovated pub in Carrick and is a labouIMG_3972r of love for the owner, David Kiersey, who spent almost five years renovating the premises. In the course of that work he and his contractors discovered 81 gold coins dating back to the 17th century and which are now on display at the National Museum in Dublin.

The restoration is immaculate and uses recycled timbers magnificently crafted into the bar, shelving and flooring.

Apart from the full range of drinks you can also enjoy an awesome pizza from the Paidi’s Pizza range!
